Why do you charge an Expertise Fee? Traditional travel agents are typically paid via commissions from hotels and cruise lines. This creates a "conflict of interest" where the agent is incentivized to book the most expensive option, not the best fit. As an Urban Auditor, I work exclusively for you. By charging a flat Expertise Fee, I am able to remain an unbiased advocate. My only goal is to ensure your environment aligns with your identity. We pass all industry discounts and "at-cost" pricing directly to you. What exactly am I paying for? Your investment covers the intellectual labor and data-driven research required to engineer a successful transition. This includes: The Audit: 20+ hours of neighborhood-level diagnostic work. The Network: Access to my private registry of Social Anchors and local stakeholders. The Strategy: A customized Belonging Blueprint—a technical roadmap that eliminates the "Geography Tax" and ensures you aren't just a tourist, but a future stakeholder. How does this save me money in the long run? The "Geography Tax" of moving to the wrong city or neighborhood can cost thousands in broken leases, lost productivity, and social isolation. The Internal Compass prevents burnout-related costs by ensuring your rest is actually restorative. The New Roots protects you from the "Relocation Failure" rate, which for international moves can exceed 40% when identity alignment is ignored. We Bridge the Gap: One bad neighborhood choice is more expensive than our highest fee. Are travel and accommodation costs included? No. To maintain total transparency, all "pass-through" costs (flights, housing, local transport) are handled separately. You can choose to book these yourself using our blueprint, or we can facilitate the bookings through our vetted logistics partners. This ensures you never pay a "markup" on the logistics of your journey. Can I credit my Consultation Fee toward a Blueprint? Yes. The Founding Member Consultation ($350) is designed to be the first step of your audit. If you choose to move forward with a full Belonging Blueprint within 90 days of your session, 100% of that fee is credited toward your package price. The "Auditor’s Guarantee" "I do not sell vacations; I engineer arrivals. If our initial audit reveals that a move or retreat is not in your best interest at this time, I will tell you.
