Who Runs the World?
The Baltimore Women’s Classic (BWC) was an amazing personal experience. It is the second-oldest and the largest all-women’s race in the United States. The 50th Anniversary of this race was supposed to be my first time running this 5K, but my mother passed away the day before the event. Charm City Run Events was incredibly accommodating and allowed me to run this year free of charge. I deeply appreciate the opportunity to have been able to run alongside so many amazing women.

Memorial Day: Honoring Those Who Died So That We Can Truly Live
Stephanie France, WDIB Founder Today, Memorial Day is widely recognized as the unofficial start of summer. We pack our bags for the beach, fill airports with tickets in hand, ready to fly across the globe, and fire up the grill for the first holiday cookout of the year. Meanwhile, retailers flood our social media accounts, email inboxes, and television screens with flashy advertisements for Memorial Day sales. We have turned it into a day of casual celebration, but its true o

Envisioning Your Dream Life
At the beginning of 2026, I put my dreams on a vision board. But today, I realized that vision boards don't work unless you are willing to do the internal work to protect your peace. Between the economy, the daily grind, and the "negative vibes" of others, staying focused on your dream life is a daily practice of sovereignty. I’m sharing why I’m choosing to "Let Me" focus on my goals and why your dream life isn't found in a new location—it's found in your "why." Read the full

From Waterfronts to Concrete Beats: How a Phone-Free Market Crawl Rewrote My City Rhythm
May 16, 2026 I woke up with the intent to analyze history and compare local markets, to observe the city vibes and provide a history of how they have become a major social anchor that has connected communities together. But as the day unfolded, it evolved into something much larger: an epiphany of how much we lose by staring into phones and laptops instead of observing and appreciating the people right in front of us. Each market possessed its own unique personality and chara

Waking Up from the Vacation: Moving Into Reality Series (Part 1)
The Exit Strategy: The Art of Letting Go We often look forward to taking a vacation from our reality, as it provides a temporary tax refund on the "Geography Tax" we pay to live in our current environment. A break from the city noise, work demands, and draining social anchors gives us an exhilarating feeling of escaping life’s prison for a taste of freedom. However, many who relocate, hoping to capture that "freedom in a bottle" are often disappointed. Relocating is more than

The Ghost in the Code: Why Your "New Life" Isn’t Loading
I’ve spent the last few days in a digital battle. I was building a blueprint to help people move their lives into "fertile soil"—to stop them from dying slowly, like roots outgrowing a cramped, ceramic pot. But as I edited my website, I hit a wall. I was adding new, beautiful features, yet a piece of "Old Code" kept ghosting the top of my screen. I deleted it. It came back. I hid it. It reappeared. I couldn’t progress because I was trying to place a new vision on top of old i

"Peacing" Your Life Together: Making the Vacation Permanent
We all want peace. We talk about it, we pray for it, and we definitely dream about it while sitting in 5:00 PM traffic. But there is a question we often avoid: "Am I being intentional about living a peaceful life?" I have a quote I visit several times a week. It’s tucked inside my motivational calendar—and yes, I still use a paper one! It reads: "Be the person you want in your life." It sounds simple, but it’s a mirror that can be hard to look into. We often wait for a partne

Is the Job Worth the Price You're Paying
As a child, I remember the day my father bought my first bicycle. Every kid gets excited about that first taste of two-wheeled freedom, and I was no exception. He gave me one rule: Don’t go too far. Stay within my eyesight. But I’ve always wanted to go beyond the boundaries to see just how far I could go. Predictably, I pushed it. I rode further than I was allowed, and as a result, I was grounded from my bike for a week. I remember the crushing disappointment and the agonizin
