The Vision in Bold

At the beginning of 2026, I created my very first vision board. Although it is in a place that I visibly see every day, it was today that I actually sat down and took a fresh look at some of the things I envision: creating passive income, dedicating time to reflect and grow, focusing on my goals, improving my health, and traveling to some places on my bucket list. The two things that are bold and stood out the most on my board are "Rise Above It All" and "Embrace the Journey." These are phrases that may sound like clichés, but the words are incredibly powerful.

Rising Above the "Negative Vibes"

I dedicated some time this week to reading self-help books and motivational articles because, despite how strong or courageous you are, there are events—and mainly people—who can make you feel low with their negative vibes. Your work environment, the economy, the traffic, and life's disappointments can make you feel that getting to that "dream life" is an impossibility, but it is not. The first step is finding the space that provides you with the serenity and sovereignty to think about what that really looks like.

Letting Go and Taking Control

Mel Robbins wrote an amazing book, Let Them, and the premise is that we can’t control other people, so "let them" live their lives. But there is a second part: "Let Me." Let yourself be happy by focusing on what you can control to reach your desired goals.

A friend shared an article about the billionaire John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of John Paul Mitchell Systems. He went from living in his car on the streets of Los Angeles to starting one of the most successful hair product companies with only a vision and $700. He went on to found another billion-dollar business, Patrón Tequila, and he’s not done yet. At age 82, he continues to invest in new opportunities and is known for his countless philanthropic initiatives. If he can achieve such success, many of us—with access to far more resources—can do the same.

The Reality of Your Journey

One fact about that "dream life" is that you have to "embrace the journey" and "rise above" your fear and self-doubt. Personal growth blooms from our failures; if you aren’t making mistakes, you are stuck in your "comfort zone."

Building Sovereignty with the Tuesday Morning Journal

There is no one magical place where your dream life is waiting for you. Whether you move to another state or another country, you have to know the “why” behind the “where.” You must be committed to investing in your passion, your business, or whatever dream you have been waiting to start.

If you are serious about this transition, you need more than just a packing list—you need a mental roadmap. This is why I developed the Tuesday Morning Journal. It’s a digital space designed specifically for those who are ready to stop dreaming and start doing. It forces you to pause, dig deep into your motivations, and confront the difficult questions—like the true catalysts behind your desire to relocate and the timeline of your own aspirations. It’s not just a journal; it’s the tool you need to transform your life and find your true sovereignty.
